Price the print, not just the plastic.

Slicers tell you grams and hours. A shop needs a number that also covers failed prints, machine time, inserts, packaging, labour and the fee the platform takes. These tools do that arithmetic in your browser and print the result.

Method

What a defensible quote contains.

Material with waste

Slicer grams are a starting point. Purge, brims and failed first layers are real consumption, so the model multiplies grams by a waste percentage you control.

Machine hours, not just parts

A printer that runs for nine hours is capital and power, whether or not the part sells. Machine rate × hours puts that cost on the quote.

Failure buffer

Prints fail. The buffer applies a percentage to filament and machine cost so one bad spool does not eat the margin on the next five orders.

Fee and margin, separated

A marketplace fee is charged on the sale price, not on your cost. The model solves the price so the target margin survives the fee.

These tools produce estimates from the rates you enter. They are not a pricing service, a market-price feed or a binding quotation.

The arithmetic, written out.

How material, machine time, waste, failures, labour, fees and margin combine — and where the estimate stops.
