What the calculator stores

The BRRRR calculator keeps your most recent inputs in your browser'slocalStorage under the key utilitylab.brrrr.v1, so the page can restore them when you return. It also writes your inputs into the page URL when you change a field, which is what makes the share link work. Both stay on your device unless you copy the link and send it to someone.

You can clear both at any time: use the “Reset to example” button, clear site data in your browser, or open the page in a private window. The calculator works without storage; it simply will not remember your last inputs.

What is not collected

No account, name, email or phone number is requested by any tool.
No analytics script, tag manager, session recorder or heatmap tool is loaded.
No advertising code is loaded on the site today.
No calculator input is transmitted to a server or third party.
No cookies are set by UtilityLab.

The site includes an ads.txt file because the publisher maintains advertising authorization records for its domains. It does not load an ad script, and no ad code is present in the pages.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data such as IP address, user agent and requested URL to deliver the page and protect the service. UtilityLab does not add its own logging, and calculator inputs are not part of any request because the calculation happens after the page loads.

Email

If you email the contact address, your message and address are handled by the publisher's email provider so the message can be read and answered. Do not send personal financial documents. Requests to delete an email conversation can be sent to the same address.

Children

UtilityLab is a general-audience planning-tool site and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If the site adds a feature that changes these practices, for example a newsletter or analytics, this page will be updated before the feature ships and the change will be dated. The current policy was last updated on 24 October 2026.
